The Magic Wand

The Wand uses a unique new technology which is unlike any other. It uses a small handpiece that looks like a pen. It works at low pressure and a slow rate that gives an improved anaesthesia, resulting in a more pleasant dental experience. So, if you are a nervous patient and can't stand the thought of needles and injections then ask for The Wand for comfortable anaethesia - you will be pleasantly surprised.

The History of Anaesthesia

The traditional dental syringe has changed very little since its introduction in 1853. In the era of modern dentistry it would seem fitting to use computers to deliver painless dental anaesthesia.

Dental Anaesthesia

This dates back to at least 1800 when a group of chemicals were discovered that blocked the transmission of nerve impluses. The syringe that delivers dental anaesthetics was invented by Cook in 1920. Until recently, there had not been major improvements in the way local dental anaesthetics could be delivered.
